Eurovision?!

Today is the day of Eurovision Song Contest: The Finals. Lithuania has passed the semi-finals so at least I'll have someone to cheer for. But I admit, I still haven't heard the song Sasha Son will sing. I feel bad, I'm not a good citizen, I guess.

The only bad thing is that I will watch it alone 'cause all my flat-mates have abandoned me. *Cries* I'll be phoning my parents every 30 minutes then, so I won't feel alone. And I bought Pringle's and Sprite - I need to have something (i.e.junk food) to enjoy the fun times that is Eurovision.

And I don't even know why I'm going to watch it. OK, sometimes there are great song, like in 2007 the winning song (Marija Šerifović-Molitva) was pretty amazing, I still listen to it sometimes. But really, the contest is not even about music, it's more about politics, which I don't care for. But I'm still going to watch it.

The organisers and other important people promised that this year the judging will be more objective.

And I can't believe that I wrote this semi-long post about Eurovision. How pathetic am I?
