I can't believe I found this book in a book store. The selection of English books in Lithuanian bookstores is kind of tragic. Only sometimes, I'm able to find something good to read. Usually, I read books in Russian, especially when it's an English author and I can't find the original book. I just love reading books in the original language. Too bad I only speak 3 languages.
But I couldn't believe my eyes when I went to the book store today and in the English language section I found this book. I just grabbed it, turned it over to see the price and without a second thought went to the cash register. I was that sure, that I would love this book. I've read so much about Neil Gaiman, I know he's an amazing writer. And I finally get to experience this on my own.
I don't think I'll be able to find more books by Neil in the book stores. We're that deprived, we don't even have comic books, just one or two years ago one of the publishing company began selling translated manga. And the only decent stuff I found was Hellsing. That's it. I'm waiting for the day when I'll be able to buy comic books in Lithuania.
