As in, on the Teen Wolf bandwagon, since almost everyone on my reading page and people from different fandoms started watching it and loving it, I thought I'd give it a chance. So I just watched the first episode and I really like it, waiting for the second one to download.

So, the trip. I left on Monday morning and stayed in Minsk with my brother for 6 days. The first 2 days he was showing me the city, which let me tell you is really beautiful and really big. The architecture is really stunning, it's all just amazing. And most of the buildings in the centre of Minks were build in soviet times and the government didn't change or destruct them after the soviet union fell apart - so there's history in these building, telling stories.

And my brother is kind of a history nerd, so he told me lots of interesting facts about the city. I love the fact that it's a growing city, everywhere I looked, I could see new houses or offices being built.

On the 3rd and 4th day of my trip, me and my brother went to Vitebsk, a city in Belarus 260km away from Minsk. Took a train there to meet up with our cousins and nephews and nieces and our uncle (our father's brother). It was really great meeting them, since I've never got the chance since my brother was like 10 years old when he last saw them and I wasn't even born then.

On Friday we visited museum of old folk crafts and technologies "Dudutki" - it's an ethnological museum, like a walk into the past. It was a really fun day!

And we finished off the tour of Minsk on Saturday, when my brother showed me the new sports arena and the path of fame of Belarus Olympic Champions.

And we saw the new Spider-Man movie and it was AMAZING, just like I expected!

It was an amazing trip and an amazing way to spend my free time and to rest from work. And this Tuesday I have to get back to work, which I don't really want to, but money doesn't just appear in our bank accounts, unfortunately.

Just came back from my trip to Minsk. And it was spectacular! I thought I'd make myself update about the trip as it was happening, but I was always too lazy in the evenings to even think up what to write.

I'll try to update tomorrow with a little bit of travel stories.

My one week vacation has started. Yay! I'm making a trip to Minsk, Belarus tomorrow to visit my brother. I'll be staying with him for a week. And we are planning to visit our cousins, who I've never met... Should be fun.

He's going to show me the city, since I've been to Minsk just once and only in passing. We are going to see the new Spider-Man movie. I'm looking forward to it!

And I'm kind of pissed off that The Dark Knight Rises will premier on 27th of July in Lithuania. At least I'm not the only one suffering, all the countries around Lithuania have the premier on 26th or 27th. We'll suffer together. The hardest thing will be avoiding spoilers.

I'm taking my computer with me, thankfully my brother has wi-fi in his apartment.

I'm back. I got home from the trip on Saturday morning. I couldn't function normally on Saturday I was too sleepy. The last day of our bus tour was on Friday and we were getting home that day. We had to wake up at 5:30 a.m. and drive all day back to Lithuania. Got to Vilnius (the capital) around 10 p.m. and that would've been awesome if the were still trains or buses back to Visaginas. And we had to waip for a 5:20 a.m. train. Fun times!

And I was sleepy through Sunday too, but today I'm feeling better.

I finally read through my reading/friends list on DW and LJ, it took me about 1,5 days. But it was awesome too catch up with everything. I didn't have internet in the Spain hotel, nor in Germany and Poland. It was awful, so many days without internet. I am addicted. But then me and my brother found it in one of the cafés at the rest stop. It was blissful. =D

So, I already told you one part of the trip in the last post. The other part continues with us coming to one of Spain part called Catalonia. We spend 4 days there. Visited Barcelona, Montserrat monastery. And visited Andora, one of the smallest country. After being in Spain for 4 days, our journey back to Lithuania slowly began. We drove through France, visited Salvador Dali museum and even visited the crocodile farm. The one farm in Europe. It was amazing!

It was the best trip I've ever had. I saw so much and I learned a lot.

If you want, there's some photos from the trip behind the cut.

Hello to all of you from sunny and really hot Cannes, France. It's the 6th day of our bus tour and it's going pretty well. We've already visited Liechtenstein, Monaco, Switzerland and now we're in France, near Mediterranean Sea.

Had a swim in the sea yesterday and today. It's so amazing. The water is so clear and really really salty, so it's easy to swim. And I've already burned my skin, although I am using the sunscreen SPF 40. Having fair skin is awful.

Switzerland was beautiful. We visited the Alps and even went on a mountain called Santis. It's 2,5 km high. We were lifted there with cable train. No words can describe what I was feeling when we were going through them and on them. There were special paths made for people who wanted to walk and climb on the mountains. I even told my brother that I was feeling like we were Sam and Frodo. And we found some snow and played snowballs there.

Visiting Monaco was interesting. The Principality is only 1,9 square kilometer and has 32 thousand population, I was truly curious to see this. We even visited the Monte-Carlo casino, just to see how it looks. The whole principality is beautiful.

And Tomorrow we're driving to Spain. After 4 days there we'll be slowly going back home through France (again), Germany, Poland. In Germany we're going to visit a crocodile farm.

That's all for the moment. I hope you are all having great time. When I get home I'll try to catch up with my reading list. Only even right now it's really hard to do. Going back home in 8 days.

Bus tour.

I'm leaving in about 30 minutes. I don't know if I'll be able to update the journal. I expect that hotels will have wi-fi there.

If I won't be able to update due to being lazy or due to the lack of internet, then expect an update in like 2 weeks.

Bye!

Just...

Happy Birthday, Ray Toro! =D

The heat is getting to me and I'm getting even more lazy. No updates for more than a week! Bad bad me! And I've been trying to finish this post for the last 3 days. Insanity!

The temperature has been seeking 34 degrees Celsius these past days. So hot and humid and it finally rained yesterday, but today it's hot, again. Unnatural temperature for our country, it's usually about 20-25 degrees in the summer.

This Friday I and my brother are going on a bus tour through mainly visiting France, Spain, Switzerland, Monaco, Liechtenstein. It's a 14 days trip. It should be awesome! I hope it will be. My bags are almost packed, tomorrow I'll finish packing.

And yesterday I finished crocheting another doily. This time it's in different colours. At first when I started crocheting it, the colours looked odd, but I think that the finished product looks nice. I just need to iron this thing out.

I was at the annual Pharmacist gathering this weekend. It is organized every year by one of our professors from university. There were about 100 people there: students, teachers and people who work in pharmacy field. We stayed in this beautiful regional nature park with lots of rivers, big forests and bogs. We stayed there for 2 days.

The weather was thankfully sunny, warm and awesome. Although when we were driving from Kaunas, it was raining really hard, but then we arrived at the destination and it was sunny there! It was surprising 'cause meteorologist told that it was supposed to rain.

We arrived, set up our tents and then just went exploring. There was an awesome trail made that we explored. Then we helped to organize the main table, helped making food. Played football. And then when the evening arrived the party started =) We danced, sang, and there was a big fire. And, of course, we got drunk. At least I know my limit with alcohol, and I think most of us knew when to stop, so no one puked or gotten sick... But I drank a lot. But I felt fine the next morning.

We went to sleep at 4 a.m. and woke up at 8 a.m. And I managed to wake up at like 6 a.m because I was super cold, only my sleeping bag can take temperature up to -10 Celsius, so I don't know how that happened and I was dressed warm.

So, we all woke up, had breakfast, went to the river, some of us had a swim. I just walked in the water, it was just really cold, so swimming was out of the question. We played with the ball some more. After a really big dinner made by the students and the teachers we began packing up. But before driving back home there was a little excursion to an upland bog. It's 3,37 square kilometres and it's seriously amazing. There was a wooden trail made, so people could walk though the bog and the sights were amazing. I've never seen this kind of bogs before. It was awesome.

And then we came back to the camping sight, packed the last of our belongings and finally went home.

And I took lots of photos, about 500 of photos, but I deleted like 80 of them. I had so much fun. I hope we'll be going to this gathering next year again.

Today is International Blonde Day! So, Happy Blonde Day to my fellow blonde people!
I didn't even know that there is such kind of holiday, but 2 people wished me a great Blonde Day!

The camping trip was amazing. It was the official Student Pharmacist and Older Pharmacist gathering. There were lots of people. We all lived in these little houses (so, I guess, I can't really say it was camping, but it was the most suitable word) with 4-5 rooms in them for about 5 people. Our room was for 3 people, but we put the beds together and 5 people slept on them. The waking up part was really awesome.

We played some games the whole Saturday evening, including volleyball, went to sleep at 4 a.m. and woke up at 9 or 10. And on Sunday we had a swim in the lake, watched others people compete in volleyball and then went home. The weather was amazing, it didn't rain. The night was cold, but the days were all really warm.

Sunday morning, we could walk (I still can't) very well. This is what happens when you do active games without stopping and feeling when to stop. My whole body still hurts, my legs, my arms and even my abs and I can't cough really well 'cause it hurts... And I bruised my right arm amazingly. The whole of my inner arm is lined up with bruises, that what happens when you play volleyball after a long time of not playing. And plus I have lots of mosquito bites, but not that many as my friends.

Overall, it was amazing 2 days of my life. In 3 weeks we are planing the same kind of trip, only to a different place. =D

I'm back.

Bonjour!
I'm back from my trip to Paris. It was really fun. I got home yesterday at 8 a.m. But I didn't get any sleep that night, so I fell asleep at 3 p.m. and woke up today at 8 a.m. So I slept for 16 hours and I think I finally had a good night sleep.

So, the trip was awesome! We visited Louvre, Versailles, Notre Dame de Paris, Disneyland and of course the Eiffel tower. Then we went to Amsterdam, and before Paris we visited Praha. But mostly our trip consisted of staying in Paris. It was just amazing! Such a big, clean and awesome city. Our tour guide told us lots of interesting stuff.

The only bad thing was my legs hurt for 2 or 3 days from walking and I got about 4 callosities on my feet, it wasn't pretty. But I always hurt my legs, and I got like a million bruises too 'cause I'm really clumsy this past months and I always ran into things.

Now, here are 2 photos of me in Disneyland with my awesome pair of Minnie mouse ears.
